Monday's Specials

Today in 1956, Elvis made his national television debut on Stage Show, hosted by the Dorsey Brothers. He sang Heartbreak Hotel. In celebration of the King's debut, we are having a special known as the Elvis sandwich.

There's some controversy about this sandwich... some say mashed bananas, some say not; some say bacon, some say not; some say honey, some say no. They all say peanut butter and bananas. They also all say "fried."

Since we are not allowed to fry to order in the deli, we're providing this on toasted white bread and heated. We'll also let you choose whether or not you want bacon on it. Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, here's the radio deli's Elvis.
