Starting on Tuesday, we're now open at 7 am on weekdays, so those of you who want to pick something up on the way to work can do so.

To celebrate, we are offering the following "early morning" specials to Radio Deli patrons.

• Free small coffee with any purchase. (or 99 cents off any other size of coffee)
• Freshly baked muffins 99 cents (regularly $1.25)
• Breakfast muffin sandwiches (a toasted english muffin with egg, cheese and ham or bacon)

We also have yogurt, granola (Nutty Steph's) and fresh fruit to go.

Conceivably you could come in and buy a 5 cent piece of candy and get a coffee for free. Of course we are hoping you'll get something a little more - like breakfast or the paper, but hey "any purchase" is any purchase.

Our coffee is Speeder and Earls Columbian or French Blend.

Early morning specials are from 7 am to 9 am Monday through Friday. Specials run through August 31st.

Battle Day Meatloaf - no parking meters today!

I hope all the state workers have a wonderful day off celebrating Bennington Battle Day. As someone who spent over 18 years in that part of the state, with 10 of them in Bennington, I truly can say I've experienced the full Battle Day experience. If you like fire trucks, parades, chicken barbeques and Shriners, be sure to see the Battle Day parade, which is (ironically) not today but this Sunday. Me, I've had my fill of those to last a lifetime, so I'm staying put in Burlington and having the wonderful meatloaf special at Radio Deli.
