questions, you've got questions

Will you get rid of meatloaf on Thursdays?

No.

What will happen to all the stuff on the walls?

Well, we will be doing some cleaning, painting and rearranging. We hope to keep the walls fun to look at as well as have more focus on what's available for sale in the deli.

What will Louie do?

You'll have to ask him, and here's his email address (louiemanno@aol.com). Louie has promised to make guest appearances at the deli, so don't be surprised if you see him.

What will Jim do?

Jim is a State Representative for the town of Colchester.

Will the staff remain the same?

So far, yes.

Will you carry ...... (fill in the blank)

The first week we were in the store, we put up a sheet asking people which beers they would like us to carry. We've listened and have stocked the beers that people requested the most. We are doing the same thing with grocery items. We've got to be realistic. We are a small store. We can't carry thousands of items. But what we can do is carry those staples that people in the neighborhood need. You know, things like milk and toilet paper.

Will your hours change?

So far, no. But again it's something we're evaluating. We may decide to open earlier in the day so that people on their way to work can get a good cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich or pastry. But first we've got to find those good pastries for you to eat. Any suggestions?

Why did you stop carrying out of town newspapers?

We were losing money each week on the newspapers. We might reconsider this in the future, especially if we open earlier.

So what are your hours? I never knew before.

Monday - Friday, 8 am to 10 pm. Saturday 9 am - 10 pm and Sunday 10 am - 8 pm.

What are your specials today?

Check them out here, on the blog. In the near future, you will be able to receive an email each weekday of the day's specials.

Where are the weekend specials?

Frankly, the deli is slow on the weekends, so we don't post the specials online. Please call us at 865-2288 and we'll describe any specials we have for you.
